Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all items are prepared and presented correctly before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Help with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
- Support banquet services during large events by coordinating food service effectively.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries or requests promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of hotel or banquet service standards is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in a busy kitchen environment.
