Host/Hostess

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist with phone etiquette, answering calls promptly and courteously.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the establishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest relations.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to all guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
