Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, managing guest orders, and ensuring a smooth dining experience in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve interacting with guests, taking orders, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in fine dining settings.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations to facilitate communication with culinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and provide assistance as needed.
