Job Summary
The Bangers Associate is the front-line face of Bangers Pickleball. This role is responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience from the moment players walk in the door. Associates handle check-ins, support the pro shop, guide guests to their assigned courts, help maintain clean and organized court areas, and ensure every visitor feels welcomed, informed, and ready to play.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing product displays to maximize sales potential
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase store revenue
- Maintain proper phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or in person
- Support supervising staff in daily operations and ensure adherence to store policies
- Engage with customers in bilingual communication as needed to enhance service accessibility
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation
- Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products, including grocery items and retail sales items
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, especially in merchandising, stocking, or cashiering roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures required
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities within the team
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for engaging with shoppers both in person and over the phone
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail sales best practices preferred
