Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Assisting with Pickleball staff as needed
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is helpful
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling operations
- Prior experience in restaurant settings is preferred
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and service excellence
- Ability to work evening shifts, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, bussing, and food preparation
