John Scott House in Braintree, MA is currently seeking a Per-Diem Painter/Maintenance Assistant to join our team! We're a 126-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility (SNF) located right off of Route 93/Route 3. You'll also have the opportunity to pick up shifts at our facilities in Dorchester, Quincy, Hingham, and Duxbury!

Requirements for Maintenance Assistant:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in maintenance field of work
  • Experience working within a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare, is a plus


Job Duties for Maintenance Assistant:

  • Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
  • Respond to buildings/residents' maintenance needs
  • Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Pick up shifts at our other locations in Dorchester, Quincy, Hingham, and Duxbury
