Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center has an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor opening! The candidate needs to be either a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing. The right candidate will supervise our nursing staff on our short term and long term care units. Located in Gloucester, we are a short and easy commute away from Salem, Peabody, Lynn, Essex and Danvers! We are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and staff. Requirements for Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
  
  
  

Job Duties for Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor:

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
• Supervise nurses and CNAs
• Manage staffing changes
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
