Accountant 8A-5P

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing account data and preparing reports. They will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities with the company. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare returns , ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other requirements.
• Conduct audits as necessary to follow policies, procedures and laws.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of accounting systems and their specifications.
• Proficient verbal and written skills
• Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred but not required.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or related position

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently sit for extended periods of time
• Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
• Requires employee to occasionally work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions.
• Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury.
• Occasionally lift 30 pounds

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
