Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end development of business proformas for new programs, service expansions, acquisitions, capital projects, and other strategic initiatives.
- Support the establishment of project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities for each pro forma.
- Ensure timely completion of all required analyses and supporting documentation.
- Incorporate market data, competitive information, organizational capacity, regulatory considerations, and operational requirements into pro forma development.
- Coordinate the development of financial assumptions, including:
- Census and volume projections
- Revenue and reimbursement assumptions
- Staffing models and personnel costs
- Facility and occupancy costs
- Start-up and capital expenses
- Operating expenses
- Margin and profitability projections
- Partner with Finance to validate assumptions and ensure financial models accurately reflect operational plans.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and potential gaps.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of changes in census, reimbursement, staffing, expenses, and other key assumptions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for assigned projections.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Clinical, Human Resources, Facilities, IT, Admissions, Business Development, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations outlining financial results, key assumptions, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Support leadership decision-making by clearly communicating the financial and operational implications of proposed initiatives.
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors degree with concentration in Business or Marketing
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to understand and evaluate business assumptions and financial models.
- Proficiency with Excel or comparable financial modeling tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in healthcare, human services, behavioral health, education, or nonprofit organizations.
- Experience developing financial pro formas, business cases, feasibility studies, or capital investment analyses.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, program development, or organizational expansion.
- Familiarity with project management platforms and business intelligence/data visualization tools.
- Management of multiple projects
