What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Bamboo Gardens?
Our restaurant is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience washing dishes and will be a reliable team player who works well in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and have the ability to thrive in difficult and stressful situations. We are seeking energetic candidates who are capable of multi-tasking effectively and working well under pressure. Previous experience dish washing preferred, but not required.
SCHEDULE IS WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY EVENINGS
Responsibilities:
- Follow sanitation procedures to minimize the risk of food contamination.
- Wash dishes using dish machine or three compartment sink.
- Follow restaurant procedure for cleaning, drying and storing dishes.
- Safely operate a dish machine and other kitchen equipment.
- Use proper body mechanics when lifting and moving large, bulky items.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minor vegetable and protein prep as needed.
- Effectively communicate and work with staff to achieve restaurant goals.
- Cleaning at kitchen close, including kitchen area, dish area and bathrooms, sweeping, mopping and throwing away trash.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.70 - $15.00 per hour
