Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our culinary services in a restaurant.

Duties

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
• Assist with the organization of clean dishes and kitchen supplies to ensure they are readily available for use.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and removing dirty dishes from dining areas as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Help with basic food prep tasks as required by culinary staff.
• Participate in maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors.

Skills

• Experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred, particularly in banquet or catering settings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is an advantage.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed within the hospitality industry.
