What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Coordinator position at Balyasny Asset Management L.P.?
In the role of Compliance Coordinator, the employee will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain list of new hires and kick off new hire documentation
- Maintain internal controls in order to detect violations of company policies and procedures
- Liaise with new hires to ensure that all Compliance onboarding requirements are completed prior to their start date
- Assist in the delivery of new hire Compliance training and support the development and execution of ongoing Compliance training initiatives
- Management of broker statement feeds and broker statement collection process for all US employees
- Assist with the reviews of broker statements and broker accounts
- Ensure that all Code of Ethics and other related certifications are completed in a timely manner
- Track and monitor the completion of quarterly and annual Compliance certifications, following up as needed to ensure timely completion
- Handle ad hoc projects for the Compliance team as they arise
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing Compliance workflows, driving greater efficiency and scalability across the team
- Proactively generate and contribute new ideas to enhance Compliance processes, tools, and overall team effectiveness
- Manage multiple concurrent priorities and adapt quickly to shifting deadlines and evolving business needs

- Experience handling Code of Ethics and Personal Trading requests is a plus
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- 4-year Bachelor's degree
- StarCompliance experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel and Word skills
- Experience with process improvement, workflow automation, or project management tools is a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
