The Services Coordinator–Problem Solving Courts serves under the general direction of the Deputy Court Administrator (Programs). This position coordinates with the Adult Drug Court, the Family Recovery Support Program–Passport to Progress, and other similar programs (“Problem Solving Courts”) to provide services through a collaborative and non-adversarial approach. The position will also coordinate with the Access to Justice Resource Center to identify potential participants in Problem Solving Courts. This position has general oversight by the Adult Drug Court Judge and the Family Recovery Support Program Magistrate
Essential Job Duties
Plus
Two years of related experience in court services, social services, behavioral health, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience working in in a problem solving court or a substance abuse treatment program.
Being at least conversational in Spanish.

Ability to demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and as a team player in a professional office.
Skill in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and professional manner.
Skill in effective listening and interpersonal relations; exercise a high degree of judgment, tact, diplomacy, and competence in dealing with judges, magistrates, public officials, the public, and professional personnel;.
Ability to prepare presentations and speak to court personnel and the public.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a professional demeanor at all times when dealing with court personnel and the public.
Ability to demonstrate cultural competence and understanding of the treatment-related field
Ability to work outside of court hours when necessary.
Proof of Licenses, Certifications and Education
Applicants are required to submit proof of licenses, certifications and education beyond high school to meet the required and preferred qualifications of the position. Diplomas or transcripts must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable.

Essential Job Duties
- Coordinate with Problem Solving Courts to develop programs and offer services and other community resources beneficial to individuals participating in Problem Solving Courts.
- Works with Problem Solving Courts to identify, screens, and enrolls individuals for participation in Problem Solving Courts.
- Serves as a liaison to Problem Solving Courts to engage the public, government agencies, and other organizations regarding the availability and effectiveness of Problem Solving Courts.
- Maintains a regular presence in public areas of the courthouse, including the Access to Justice Center, to meaningfully interact with participants in Problem Solving Courts and individuals who may benefit from participation in Problem Solving Courts.
- Develops and facilitates trainings for Problem Solving Courts team members and court staff.
- Performs other assigned duties or tasks as required.
