2026 Summer Camp Counselor Application
(Senior & Junior Positions)
We are excited to welcome applicants for our 2026 Summer Camp Counselor team! We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic individuals who are passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and memorable camp experience.
Senior Counselor (Typically ages 18 )
Senior Counselors serve as leaders and role models within the camp community. They are responsible for supervising campers, leading activities, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Planning and leading daily camp activities (sports, arts & crafts, games, etc.)
• Supervising and engaging with campers throughout the day
• Ensuring camper safety and enforcing camp rules
• Mentoring and guiding Junior Counselors
• Communicating effectively with staff, campers, and parents when needed
• Responding appropriately to challenges and emergencies
Qualifications:
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working with children preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Responsible, reliable, and positive attitude
Junior Counselor
(Typically ages 14–17)
Junior Counselors support Senior Counselors and gain hands-on leadership experience while assisting with daily camp operations.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with activities and camper supervision
• Helping set up and clean up activities
• Serving as a positive role model for younger campers
• Supporting staff in maintaining a safe and fun environment
• Participating actively in camp programs
Qualifications:
• Interest in working with children
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Responsible and dependable
