In accordance with Maryland law, City School is required to share the position salary ranges in its entirety. Please note, this is not the hiring range. The hiring range for this position is ($67,785 - $80,855).
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot Interactive Display system and hardware
- Troubleshoot Audio Visual Control Systems and processing units
- Troubleshoot Projection systems
- Troubleshoot PA systems
- Solid understanding of signal flow. Assessment of skill to follow.
- Understanding of ticketing systems
- Assists in the implementation of quality customer support processes.
- Ensures that systems and system changes are properly documented.
- May interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation of technical problems/issues during outages and/or periods degraded system performance.
- Organizes and maintains technical libraries.
- Researches and facilitates the resolution of customer service requests.
- Participates as team member in projects of moderate size, scope and complexity. May be a team lead for projects of small size, scope and complexity.
- Maintains an advanced technical knowledge of two City Schools application programs, databases, operating systems, customer data retrieval processes, or network configurations.
- Exhibit decorum and professionalism
- Participates in the training programs offered to increase technical, interpersonal, and communication skills and proficiency related to the projects to which assigned.
- Utilizes tact and exercises good judgment in interacting with the general public, school, and central office personnel.
- Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board policies, and professional standards.

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technology-related field, technical certification(s) and two years directly related experience; or a High School degree and technical certification(s) and four years directly related experience; Degree must be from an accredited college or institution.
- Experience with in-person, hybrid, and virtual audio-visual event production.
- Knowledge of audio-visual products and solutions that include interactive displays, AV control systems (EXTRON, Crestron, Box Light)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
