Assists IEP chairs with emailing and mailing all Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting invitations and IEP information, uploading reports online and sending team members discipline-specific reports for review, document ing all communications with parents, and contacting parents prior to each IEP meeting to confirm attendance.

Essential Functions
- Contacts parents prior to the IEP meeting to remind them of the?meeting, and?documents?all communication with parents. Helps?facilitate?discussion with parents and team members to fully?understand?the child's strengths and needs.?
- Assists IEP Chairs as needed.
- Uploads?any necessary documentation in MD Online.?
- Mails/emails?meeting invitations and all relevant documents to the parents prior to the meeting.??
- Mails?or?emails?all?pre-/post-meeting documentation to parents.?
- Follows up with parents who have not attended meetings or signed the meeting?paperwork, and?documents?the diligent efforts to obtain signature.?
- Maintains confidentiality of records per legal requirements.
- Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board policies, administrative regulations, and professional standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills.
- Paraprofessionals currently?working in City Schools; experience with?Early Learning?Program preferred.?
- Capacity to support?IEP teams in a fast-paced environment.?
- Employee of Baltimore City Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, with the intention to remain an employee for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Excellent?time-management?and organizational?skills.?
- Proficiency?in the use of technical computer applications, including?MD Online, ?Google Suite, ?Microsoft?Office Suite.?
- Possession of all appropriate licenses, certificates, and contracts for the 2026-2027 school year (non-renewals, expiring certifications or licenses, separations including retirees will not be considered for summer school employment).
- Acceptable annual rating by school principal/administrator
