Role

Monitors and maintains timekeeping system and produce timely work schedules to be regularly posted. Facilitates hiring and onboarding for Housekeeping department. Acts as a liaison between the housekeeping department and staffing agencies. Drafts department forms as needed.

Responsibilities

Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.

Prints and posts daily sign-in sheets for all housekeeping sections.

Monitors daily time edits to ascertain if employees are punching in and out.

Cross-checks schedule against sign-in sheets and time edits.

Prepares and post weekly schedules for housekeeping employees.

Monitors PTO requests to adjust schedule and time edits as necessary.

Acts as liaison for payroll and schedule issues with employees.

Generates and print reports as requested.

Prepares and submits any ancillary payroll forms as required.

Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenues as well as reducing costs.

Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Hard Rockers to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.

Resolves guest issues.

Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.

Interview and hire new employees as needed.

Draft and present disciplinary documentation when needed.

Coordinate with staffing agencies with regards to onboarding and providing timecards

Send relevant payroll information to finance, corporate payroll, and staffing agencies as needed.

Maintain accurate and updated compendium for housekeeping department

Assist with Housekeeping dispatch if needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

  • Knowledge: The level of education, experience, and training an individual must have at minimum to be considered qualified for the position.
  • Skills: Specific skills such as computer usage, communication, 10-key touch, etc.
  • Abilities: The physical components of the job and how the physical aspect is accomplished. Does the position require LIFTING 50 pounds, or does it require one to MOVE 50 pounds. Can the 50 pounds be moved using a dolly or cart? (Examples: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, color vision, etc.)

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

High energy level.

Good judgment and common sense.

Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to communicate basic information to others.

Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.

Ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.

Knowledge of Kronos.

Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office Products.

Training

Required

All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
