This is a builder's role. A fixer's role. A roll up your sleeves, get into the room, figure it out, and get it done role. You will be recruiting while onboarding. Negotiating while training. Building culture while navigating compliance. Partnering with corporate HR while running point on the ground. All of it, at the same time, under the pressure of one of the most watched property openings in Chicago's history.
You are in the building. You partner with the GM, the department heads, and corporate HR from the middle of the work itself. You have at least ten years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of five in a senior leadership role within gaming or hospitality, specifically in casino openings.
You have done hard things in hard environments and you are better for it. You are not looking for a comfortable next step. You are looking for the role that asks everything of you because you know that is where you do your best work.
What You Will Own:
- Full HR execution for the flagship opening of Bally's Chicago
- Workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training across every level and department
- Union relationship management, collective bargaining compliance, and labor grievance resolution as the primary point of contact between the property and its labor partners
- A culture of inclusion, engagement, and accountability that is lived on the floor
- Performance management that connects individual accountability to organizational outcomes
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment law in one of the most regulated industries in the country
- A direct and active partnership with Bally's corporate HR to ensure property level strategy is aligned, supported, and amplified at the enterprise level
