Role Description The Associate will work part time remote and on-site at our Miami Beach, FL office, supporting business and real estate law matters as well as title and corporate services. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with real estate and corporate transactions. The Associate will communicate with clients, coordinate with title and corporate service teams, and help manage case files and deadlines. The role also involves using legal technology platforms to maintain accurate records, improve workflow efficiency, and support smooth transaction management.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and writing skills, including the ability to draft clear, precise contracts and transactional documents.
- Experience or coursework in business law, real estate law, and corporate transactions, including familiarity with title-related matters.
- Comfort with legal technology tools, document management systems, and digital communication platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Professional client communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts in accessible language and collaborate with internal teams.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the Florida Bar.
- Prior law firm or transactional experience is beneficial, especially in business, real estate, or corporate practice.
