BallenIsles Country Club is excited to announce a great career opportunity. We are seeking an experienced On Course Player Assistant to join our Golf team!
General Purpose:
Assists in administering daily operations including, but not limited to: managing pace of play, tee sheet applications, starter, guest relations.
Essential Duties:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms.
Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

- Manage Pace of Play and organization of daily play.
- Ensures players are adhering to guidelines set by the Starter.
- Maintain and restock comfort stations on the courses.
- Keep course markings (stakes and signs) neat and orderly.
- Enforce dress code rules.
- Confirm tee sheet accuracy.
- Helps tournament set up and coordination.
- Enforce ThorGuard rules.
- Provide oncourse service to members by finding lost clubs, replace dying carts and other related service.
- Encourage golfers to use proper “care for the course” etiquette.
- Assists with associate training.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
