Sanitation Supervisor II (1rst-Shift)

The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining sanitation protocols in line with state health and safety regulations. Supervises associates to include, but not limited to training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
• Designing and implementing sanitation policies and protocols.
• Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
• Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
• Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
• Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Providing feedback to company managers and advising on manufacturing changes.
• Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Training sanitation workers and organizing refresher workshops for existing staff.
• Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
• Oversees Team Leads and Sanitor One & Two employees

• Monitors performance and disciplinary recommendations
• Lead daily team meetings to distribute information

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient and Advance Cleaning, Advance Cleaning, Compactor and Special Assignments
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced managerial skills.
• Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement training programs.
• Great attention to detail.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• General Computer skills.
• Work at an acceptable speed to deliver proper sanitation as needed and required.
• Food safety and safety awareness, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to physically lift, push pull and stand for long periods of time without reasonable accommodations.
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of experience in a Warehouse Environment
• Facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
• English and Spanish proficiency preferred

Work Environment:

• Ability to lift over 50lbs and stand and maintain active for long periods of time without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer warehouse environment.
