The position requires both hands-on involvement in manufacturing environments and strong project management skills to drive successful implementation of improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with manufacturing departments (meat, fish, and produce) to evaluate and enhance business processes.
- Conduct hands-on process assessments on the production floor to fully understand operational workflows.
- Partner with manufacturing partners to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and system improvements.
- Manage projects related to system enhancements, process changes, and technology rollouts from initiation to completion.
- Provide training and support for manufacturing teams on system usage and process updates.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and supply chain teams to align system solutions with business goals.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and analyses to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
- Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or supply chain environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both in office and on-site at partner manufacturing facilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- This role requires regular visits to partner manufacturing facilities.
- Some travel may be necessary.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
