Overview:
This position supports the Receiving Department at Golden Meats, a division of Baldor Specialty Foods. The role is responsible for executing all receiving procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards (HACCP & SQF), and workplace safety guidelines.

Overview:
This position supports the Receiving Department at Golden Meats, a division of Baldor Specialty Foods. The role is responsible for executing all receiving procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards (HACCP & SQF), and workplace safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all receiving functions in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with company standards
- Inspect incoming products from vendors to ensure quality, condition, and compliance
- Verify quantities and ensure all documentation aligns with corresponding Purchase Orders
- Accurately document overages, shortages, damages, expiration dates, product temperatures, trailer conditions, and any signs of pest activity or tampering
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to record and track inventory
- Adhere to all Receiving SOPs and Baldor/Golden Meats policies
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Receiving Supervisor regarding discrepancies or concerns
- Immediately report any food safety, quality, or security issues
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required timeframes
- Follow all HACCP, SQF, and safety standards, including reporting any accidents or hazards
- Support overall warehouse operations and complete additional duties as assigned
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse receiving processes
- Prior experience in a food distribution or cold storage environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment (36°F – 38°F)
- Monday – Friday
- 1st Shift (flexibility required based on business needs)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
