Packaging Associate

ald Birds Brewing is looking to expand our team of packaging associates. The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, detailed and service-oriented. This entry level position reports to the Director of Packaging. The Packaging Associate will be required to assure that all products are packaged correctly with passion and care for the product in mind. This position must assure quality and consistency with every package.

Your primary areas of responsibility are detailed below. Success in those areas will include, but not be limited to, the tasks outlined below, and your responsibilities may grow beyond this scope in the future.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of canned product through zones as assigned

• Document all accountables on Packaging Log

• Change labels on the label machine as required

• Ensure Paktech handles are staged next to Packtech machine

• Ensure product quality by performing visual and hands-on inspections of products as they pass through each Zone.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to GMP and SOP guidelines

• Fold case trays and cartons

• Operate manual pallet jack

• Stack cases to pallets properly

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stand and twist
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a 
• Physical stamina and lifting ability
• Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Must be able to work in ambient conditions
