Job Summary
Balancing The Equation 21st Century Learning is seeking a dependable, safety minded Van Driver to transport students to our NextShift STEM Afterschool Program. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, has a clean driving record, and is committed to providing a safe and positive experience for every child.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students from local schools to the NextShift STEM Afterschool Program.
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections before operating the van.
- Ensure all children are safely loaded, unloaded, and accounted for.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and childcare transportation regulations.
- Communicate any transportation concerns or vehicle maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with student supervision upon arrival if needed.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with parents, school staff, and students.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Experience transporting children is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Approximately 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Additional hours may be available for field trips, school breaks, and summer programs.
