Position Overview:
We are seeking a polished, reliable Medical Receptionist to serve as the front-facing presence of our psychiatric practice. This role is essential in creating a calm, professional patient experience while supporting the clinical team and maintaining efficient front office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the clinic, creating a welcoming and organized environment
- Build and maintain strong, respectful patient relationships
- Manage phones, scheduling, and daily front office flow
- Process co-pays, patient balances, and insurance verification accurately
- Maintain paperwork, forms, and front office organization
- Provide clinical support and assist back-office MA as needed for patient care and treatments
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Professional, composed, and patient-centered demeanor
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations calmly and effectively
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to multitask and take ownership of front office responsibilities
- Previous psychiatric or medical office experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to de-escalate and support patients in a mental health setting strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
