Job Title: Blending Technician / Mixer Operator
Type of Role: To be confirmed
Shift / Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM; flexibility to work weekends and overtime required
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Hourly Rate: $22.00
We are seeking a Blending Technician / Mixer Operator to prepare ingredient batches for a beverage canning line. This position ensures ingredients are accurately weighed and mixed according to batch cards, recipes, and product specifications while maintaining food safety standards.
Role and Responsibilities:

Follow recipes and batch cards to accurately weigh and load ingredients into the blender.

Verify and record ingredient lot numbers for each batch.

Ensure finished mixes meet product specifications and report any deviations.

Pull product samples for testing.

Record ingredient return information and properly process partial and unused ingredients.

Follow safe food handling procedures and support compliance throughout the mixing area.

Remove ingredient packaging, trash, and cardboard to maintain a clean work area.
Skills and Experience:

Basic math skills to measure and weigh ingredients accurately.

Strong attention to detail when following recipes and documenting batch information.

Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English and/or Spanish.

Knowledge of powered cleaning equipment usage.

Willingness to complete training on the inventory management system and batch card procedures.

Availability to work overnight hours, with flexibility for weekends and overtime.
