Let us help you achieve your career dreams. Job Title: Machine OperatorType of Role: Contract to hireShift / Hours: Swing or GraveyardLocation: West Valley, UTHourly Range: $20 TO $21  If candidates have forklift experience it is a plus**PRIMARY PURPOSE**The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the Packer operates efficiently and effectively. The Packer operator is responsible for managing the Packer equipment on the can line.**PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Distribute all bundle film and trays according to work orders.- Ensure that the glue tank is adequately filled while the machine is in operation.- Load trays into the machine as required.- Resolve any jams in the packer, reset the machine, and restart it.- Assist with hand-stacking trays at the end of the line when the palletizer is down.- Ensure that all products meet quality standards.- Communicate any issues promptly to the supervisor and maintenance team.- Complete all necessary preoperational checks.- Report deviations as needed.- Fill out and submit daily reports and related paperwork.**JOB SPECIFICATIONS****Education and/or On-the-Job Experience Required**- On-the-job training for machine operation.- Strong mechanical aptitude.- Proficiency in reading and writing English.**Industry-Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred.- Previous leadership or line lead experience is also preferred.**Interpersonal Skills**- Ability to clearly communicate issues as they arise.**Technical Skills**- Knowledge of machinery and its operation.Apply now and one of our recruiters will reach out to you!Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
