Kamatics is seeking a Manager, Safety & Health who is responsible for the overall management, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s comprehensive safety and health programs. This role provides leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with all industry, local, state, and federal regulations. The Manager establishes, maintains, and continuously improves workplace safety and wellness programs while effectively communicating company safety goals and objectives across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive safety and health programs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, Facilities, Environmental, Quality, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align safety initiatives with business objectives.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and meetings; identify corrective actions and ensure follow-through.
Manage injury and incident reporting, investigations, documentation, and case management.
Develop and deliver safety, compliance, and preventative training programs.
Identify and procure required PPE, safety equipment, and supplies.
Provide technical safety support for projects, facilities upgrades, and equipment installations.
Support safe execution of capital projects and report progress, risks, and compliance status to leadership.
Develop short- and long-term safety plans, budgets, and improvement initiatives.
Act as site liaison to corporate EHS leadership and participate in company-wide safety initiatives.
Support lean manufacturing and 5S programs, recommending improvements to work processes.
Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workplace.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale commercial, government, or industrial environments.
At least 6 years of management-level experience in a safety or EHS role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Experience conducting audits, investigations, and corrective action programs.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Lean/continuous improvement mindset.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequent sitting at a computer workstation and grasping a mouse
Occasional bending and twisting
Occasional lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as business needs require.
