Finish Contractor Apprentice
We are seeking an eager motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level Finishing Contractor Apprentice. This role is designed to teach you the specialized skills necessary to complete the final, high-quality touches in residential homes. You will work directly under experienced employees, learning trades such as finish carpentry, painting, trim installation, and drywall finishing.
Compensation
Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, caulking, priming, and repairing minor drywall or wood defects.
Installation Assistance: Assist with the installation of trim, molding, baseboards, doors, cabinets, and other fine woodwork.
Finishing Application: Learn to apply paint, stains, varnishes, or sealants using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Job Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning up debris and managing materials daily.
Tool Handling: Safely operate, clean, and maintain hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, sanders).
Instruction Following: Follow verbal and written instructions from mentor regarding project specifications and safety protocols.
Quality Control: Assist in identifying and correcting defects to ensure a polished final look to deliver to the customer.

- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Paid Time Off (PTO) 7 paid Holidays per year.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours; occasional overtime based on customer needs.
