What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUPPORT STAFF position at BakerStreet Steakhouse?
Responsibilities
- Expediting food
- Ensuring quality control of plates
- Coordinating with Chef to ensure tickets are fired and walked at accurate times
- Preparing and stocking the expo line while maintaining a clean and safe workstation
- Communicating with servers and other members of FOH to ensure plates are accurately matched with table and seat numbers
- Ensuring food delivery in a timely manner
- Helping clear tables
- Support all positions in front Of House
Requirements
- The ability to read and understand food tickets (specific menu knowledge will be taught in training)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to implement them within a fast-paced environment
- The ability to maintain organization and communication in periods of heightened volume
