Manager Overview and qualifications:
As an Assistant Manager, you would report directly to the General Manager. You are responsible for all operations in a full service restaurant, including marketing, catering, team scheduling, sales goals and results. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and positive, team-oriented work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· Responsible for some financial (cash handling, submitting invoices, reporting results, etc.) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties
· Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; maintain personnel files; develop staff
· Check and maintain all service areas for proper set-up and cleanliness; maintain proper supply and inventory levels
· Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
· Assist the General Manager and other managers
Requirements:
· High School graduate or equivalent required
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full service restaurant manager preferred
