BakerHostetler is seeking a mid-level associate (3-7 years’ experience) to join its premier, globally recognized Digital Assets and Data Management ("DADM") Group. The associate would work with some of the largest and most well-known companies across a broad range of industries.
As a member of the DADM Group’s Privacy and Digital Risk Class Action and Litigation Team, the candidate will join an unmatched team, handling all aspects of privacy- and data security-related litigation, primarily involving class actions that follow a data security incident.

Salary
The expected annual salary range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program. BakerHostetler offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including group health, dental and vision insurance, vacation (20 days), paid holidays (10 days), 401(k) plan, parental leave (10 weeks, not including disability, where applicable, and accrued vacation), family care program, wellness program, life and accident insurance, and short and long-term disability.

Qualifications Include
- Litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in privacy-related litigation and class action defense
- Experience in privacy litigation and/or class action litigation
- Experience advising and litigating claims involving state and federal laws (BIPA, FCRA, FACTA, etc.) is a plus
- AmLaw 100 experience
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
- Must be admitted or be able to waive into practice in the state of Colorado
- Admission to practice law in the state of California is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
- Understanding of consumer class actions, with an emphasis on Article III and Rule 12(b)(6) dismissal strategies
- Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills; law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills a plus
- The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment
