Job Description: This is a fast-paced, high production, physically demanding, time sensitive type job, which requires organization, and flexibility, as tasks change frequently to meet store requirements.
The position also requires dependability, physical fitness, critical thinking skills, time management, multi-tasking capabilities, consistency, motivation, punctuality, responsibility, respect, cleanliness, and pride in work.
The Baker will produce cheesecakes, pies, pastries, pineapple upsidedown cakes, bread pudding, garnishes, custards, doughs, batters, bases and other baked items. This position has varied duties daily, which may include making doughnuts, muffins, petitfours, and cookies, as needed while creating orders and maintaining stock and rotation.
Responsibilities:
Gather ingredients and equipment to prepare all items.
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking and prep areas.
Inventory tracking, product and ingredient stocking.
Requirements:
Previous experience is not required, as on-the-job training can be provided to qualified candidates.
Work early mornings. Shift is 3:00am – 11:00am.
Must work well with others on all teams and be able to take directions.
Must be flexible with a Positive Attitude.
Must have reliable transportation.
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
Able to work in a standing position while mixing, rolling, and cutting/sheeting dough for up to 10 hours a day.
Must be able to provide exceptional work pace in a limited space.
Must have the ability to bend, squat and frequently lift 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
