Role Description
The Electrical Estimator will oversee the preparation of project cost estimates, manage cost-related decisions, and collaborate with clients and team members to provide customized solutions. Responsibilities include calculating material and labor costs, analyzing technical drawings, and ensuring the accuracy of bids and proposals. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bangor, ME, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control to develop precise project budgets and proposals.
- Experience in Electrical Contracting and knowledge of Electricity systems and applications.
- Understanding of the principles of Electrical Engineering and their practical applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
- Familiarity with electrical design software and relevant industry software tools.
- Prior experience in the electrical or construction industry would be advantageous.
