We are looking for an Estimator to support residential and commercial projects through accurate, detailed, and timely cost estimating. This role plays a key part in shaping budgets, understanding project scope, and helping the team make informed decisions during preconstruction.
The right person is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working through drawings, specifications, and subcontractor pricing to build accurate estimates for a wide range of construction projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirements before estimating
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
- Develop accurate estimates for residential and commercial projects ranging from renovations to ground-up builds
- Request and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers for completeness and accuracy
- Understand construction methods, sequencing, and schedules to build realistic labor and production costs
- Work with PMs, operations, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify scope gaps and resolve questions
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Apply knowledge of CSI divisions, materials, and construction methods to estimates
- Perform pricing, markup, and budgeting calculations
- Meet proposal deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Stay current on market pricing and labor trends
- Maintain organized estimate files, takeoffs, and bid documentation
- Identify missing scope items, risks, and inconsistencies early and communicate them clearly
- Compare subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and coverage
- Work with PMs and field teams to understand real production rates and job conditions
- Support change order pricing and project cost updates as needed

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of construction estimating
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and scope development
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, budgeting, and subcontractor pricing
- Comfortable using estimating tools/software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
