Baker Aviation is hiring a Recruiter to support our growing Part 135 operation. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, coordinating hiring manager interviews, and supporting onboarding for pilots, maintenance, and support staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven aviation environment and play a key role in building high-quality teams that support our commitment to safety and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for Part 135 roles, including Captains, First Officers, A&P Mechanics, and operational support staff
- Partner with the Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Director of Maintenance, and HR leadership to understand staffing plans and regulatory requirements
- Source qualified candidates through aviation job boards, pilot networks, referrals and email/website submissions
- Screen candidates for Part 135 minimums, certificates, currency, type ratings, medicals, and flight time requirements
- Coordinate interviews, simulator evaluations, PRIA, background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and onboarding documentation
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing qualified candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screening interviews, and coordinating next-round interviews with hiring managers
- Support and execute all onboarding activities, ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements, compliance documentation, training coordination, and a positive new-hire experience
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for any and all positions
Pay and Benefits
Salary - $50,000 - $100,000 (base bonus structure)
Health Coverage - Baker Aviation pays the entire premium for our healthcare plan. This is a $3,000 per month value for a family plan.
401K - Baker Aviation contributes 3% to your 401K. This is a free contribution from the company, you do not have to contribute any of your pay unless you want to.
ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) - Stacks on top of 401K. No cost to you, 6 year vesting.
PTO - 10 days per year - you will be eligible for PTO after 6 months of employment. All PTO must be approved.
