Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Introduction
Signature is a General Contractor specializing in providing general
contracting design-build and construction services to Federal and private
sector clients in the Mid‐Atlantic region.
Sr. Project Manager Position Description Assignments
We are recruiting for a full‐time Sr. Project Manager position for a large
multiple-awarded federal design-build program. This position has long‐term
employment possibilities. The role includes overseeing project teams,
coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary
teams and ensuring successful project delivery. Primary duties include
responsibility for pre-construction planning, scheduling, budgeting,
purchasing, overall management of day-to-day project operations,
subcontractor management, closeout, and P/L of the project. The assignment
requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication and team
management. Maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Sr. PM job requirement:
A BS degree in construction management, architecture or engineering
related field preferred. Other BA/BS degree may be acceptable.
Must be a US Citizen.
Minimum 10 years’ experience with design-build construction projects.
One of the following certifications or registrations is preferred:
o Active Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certified by the
Construction Manager Certification Institute
o Or Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by
the American Institute of Constructors and constructer
Certification Commission
o Or Active Designated Design-Build Professional certification
administered by the DBIA
o Or Active Licensed Professional Registration, e.g. Registered
Professional Engineer or Registered Architect.
Additional 10 years construction management experience for a total of
20 years experience if no degree or certification or license.
Firm-fixed price Federal construction design-build and bid-build
projects preferred.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
In-depth understanding of NAVFAC, USACE, WHS, FBI and other
federal agency contract vehicles.
Strong communication and analytical skills
Initiative and self‐direction for starting, researching, and completing
tasks independently, and developing systems of order and efficiency.
Strong project financial and cost management skills with firm-fixed
price construction contracts.
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe,
scheduling software, Procore, BlueBeam, etc.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work.
High sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks.
Strong accountability for delivery of promised actions and a reputation
for prompt follow‐up.
Hold a security clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
Assignments Benefits

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
