We’re hiring a Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Superintendent to oversee field operations and crews throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced commercial roofing professional with strong knowledge of architectural sheet metal systems.
You’ll oversee projects from planning through completion, keeping crews productive, projects on schedule, and work up to quality and safety standards.
What You'll be Doing:
- Lead and provide day-to-day direction to commercial roofing and sheet metal crews
- Oversee project schedules, quality, manpower, and field operations
- Inspect sheet metal work to ensure quality and industry standards are met
- Coordinate with clients, crews, subcontractors, and management throughout projects
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving
- Coordinate change orders and provide project progress updates
- Promote and enforce safe work practices across jobsites
Who We're Looking For:
- 5 years of commercial roofing/sheet metal foreman, superintendent, or similar leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal systems and installation
- Proven ability to lead field crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
- Basic computer skills
- Valid, insurable driver’s license
