Role Description
This is a full-time Associate Attorney role based on-site in Omaha, NE. The Associate Attorney will handle day-to-day tasks such as drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, providing legal advice, and representing clients during litigation. Additional responsibilities include negotiating settlements and contributing to strategizing case approaches as part of a dynamic legal team.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide sound Legal Advice and conduct in-depth Legal Research
- Proficient Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Nebraska; Iowa is a plus
- Prior experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, or related fields is a plus
