Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Natural Gas Foreman to lead crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid safety mindset, and hands-on field experience in gas utility work.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of natural gas crew members
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and related infrastructure
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Read and interpret maps, and technical drawings
- Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to management
- Train and mentor crew members as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance
Requirements:
- Prior experience in natural gas construction or utility work (Foreman or leadership experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of gas distribution systems and safety procedures
- Ability to lead a crew and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with natural Gas installation, and equipment operation
- Knowledge of local and federal regulations related to natural gas systems
