Position Summary
The Service Technician / Maintenance Specialist is a W-2 employee responsible for performing hands-on maintenance, repair work, and warranty support across residential owners and Rental properties. This role is part of the Property Operations team and ensures that all properties are maintained in safe, functional, and presentable condition in alignment with company standards.
The employee works under the direction and supervision of the Warranty & Maintenance Lead and supports both scheduled maintenance tasks and responsive field repair needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Maintenance & Repair Execution
- Perform general maintenance and repair work across Airbnb and rental properties as assigned.
- Conduct interior and exterior painting, patching, and finishing work.
- Perform caulking, minor repairs, and basic carpentry tasks.
- Replace filters (including sediment filters) and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Execute general handyman tasks required to maintain property condition.
- Basic Landscaping and yard maintenance, including but not limited to mowing grass, weed eating, and weed control
- Warranty & Field Support
- Assist Warranty & Maintenance Lead in executing warranty-related work orders.
- Meet subcontractors at job sites and provide on-site coordination support as directed.
- Assist in identifying and completing minor repairs related to warranty claims.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned maintenance tickets.
- Equipment, Tools & Vehicle Use
- Operate company-provided vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as required.
- Safely tow and operate utility trailers when trained and authorized.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned tools and equipment.
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow all safety procedures and field operation standards.
- Maintain safe and clean work environments at all job sites.
- Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns immediately to management.
- Ensure work complies with property standards and quality expectations.
- Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear updates on work progress and completed tasks.
- Document maintenance activities as required by company systems.
- Communicate delays, material needs, or site issues promptly to the direct or attending manager.
Work Conditions
- This is a field-based role requiring travel between multiple property locations.
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, construction materials, and maintenance-related hazards may occur.
- Physical activity is required, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
- May require occasional after-hours, weekend, or urgent response work depending on operational needs.
- Frequent travel between job sites is required; reliable transportation is essential (company vehicle provided when assigned).

Compensation Structure
This is a non-exempt W-2 hourly position.
Hourly Rate: Starting at$20.00 To be determined based on experience, skill level, and geographic considerations.
Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state labor laws
Pay Schedule: Weekly (or in accordance with company payroll cycle).
Benefits: Paid time off, 6 paid Holidays, and other standard employee benefits (WC Insurance).
Work Relationship
This role is an employment relationship between the individual and the company. The employee performs assigned duties under the direction of the Warranty & Maintenance Lead or designated management personnel.
The company retains the right to assign, prioritize, and modify work duties based on operational needs, in compliance with applicable labor laws.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles when applicable
- Basic experience in maintenance, construction, or handyman work.
- Knowledge of painting, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport materials safely.
- Willingness to operate or learn trailer towing and field equipment use.
