Baier Automotive Logistics is a fast-growing automotive trucking company specializing in vehicle transportation and logistics solutions. We function both as a brokerage and through our owned fleet under Baier Transport, which includes:
- 10 nine-car haulers
- 2 flatbeds
- 1 four-car hauler
- 1 two-car hauler
We partner with dealerships, manufacturers, fleet management companies, and individual clients to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective auto transport services across the U.S.
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and has the determination to earn significant commissions.
In this position, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients, managing the logistics of orders, and ensuring smooth and timely vehicle deliveries. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients from quote to delivery, making sure expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, research, and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking.
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into long-term client relationships.
- Enter and maintain accurate data within our logistics and CRM systems.
- Negotiate rates and terms with clients while ensuring profitability.
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling with dispatch and carrier partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate updates proactively to clients throughout the delivery process.
- Resolve any issues that arise during transport with a solutions-first mindset.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, logistics, or a customer-facing role (automotive industry experience a plus).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with logistics software a plus).
- Self-motivated, competitive, and eager to grow earnings.
