Reports to: Plant Manager
Daily Schedule: 5 AM – 3 PM; Monday -Thursday; weekends and overtime, as needed
Position Status: Non-Exempt; hourly, paid bi-weekly

Job Description: The Shipping & Warehouse Coordinator at WEG Coatings plays a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall operational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and motivated to take ownership of processes, drive improvements, and contribute to the continued development of warehouse operations.
This role offers the opportunity to expand responsibilities, influence workflow efficiencies, and play a critical part in shaping warehouse best practices in a growing environment. This position may require occasional overtime and weekend work. It is classified as a Hazmat Employee role; all required training will be provided by WEG Coatings.

Specific Tasks Include
- Coordinate and oversee the receiving of materials, ensuring all goods are properly inspected, counted, labeled, and accurately entered into the inventory management system
- Manage the storage and organization of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining accuracy, accessibility, and overall warehouse efficiency
- Support and help optimize daily warehouse operations, including identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased productivity
- Ensure finished goods meet quality standards and are stored in a manner that preserves product integrity
- Lead order fulfillment activities, including picking, packaging, and preparing shipments, as well as loading outbound trucks
- Coordinate the staging of raw materials to support production schedules and minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Operations Management to support workflow planning, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide support across departments as needed and contribute to a team-focused work environment
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Must Have Forklift Certification.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
