Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Strategic Materials Analyst to support a wide array of recurring and ad hoc analysis, under the guidance of the Strategic Sourcing Analyst Manager. Analyst will also work collaboratively with the Lead Supply Chain Analyst to develop and monitor performance against a yearly material operating plan. Ad-hoc requests for analysis to support integrated operations requests, executive-level business reviews, as well as internal strategic reviews are also a significant component of this role.
As a Strategic Material Analyst you would be responsible for
- Creating and maintaining reporting and dashboards to assist Value Stream Leads with ensuring material availability to meet production schedule.
- Creation of Material KPI's including stock outs, pick rates, cycle time, etc.
- Communicating status of reporting to key stakeholders within the materials orginization.
- Supporting the broader integrated operations organization with various ad-hoc reporting.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Requires advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to construct complex nested functions along with a strong familiarity with lookups, pivot tables, and production of charts/visuals
- Requires good time management skills and the ability to multi-task as you will be supporting multiple projects at once in varying stages of completion, and be responsible for completing analyst tasks in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule
- Requires strong communication skills as you will be interfacing with key stakeholders througout the integrated operations orginization.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) HIGHLY preferred
- Solid understanding of core supply chain processes including but not limited to, Bills of Material, Planning, Production, and Delivery.
- Experience with VBA coding and Power Query
- Experience with process improvements
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $73778 - $125422

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
