BAE Systems has a stimulating opportunity for an energetic well-qualified Reliability Engineer to join our team. You will work on teams developing and producing a variety of electronic equipment including Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, providing unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. BAE Systems’ Reliability Engineers are involved with every stage of the equipment lifecycle from concept through development, Integration & Test, production and field support. You will have significant interaction across the company including program office, all engineering disciplines and production functions and this will provide for a fast-paced, educational, and fulfilling experience. Your efforts will have a positive impact on front line warfighter’s effectiveness and daily quality of life.

We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer with an earned degree in a electrical engineering discipline to join our Reliability Science engineering team. You will have opportunities to apply your engineering skills and education to investigate digital and analog electronics, power supplies, and systems of electronic modules, to ensure Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability requirements are achieved. Your self-starting enthusiasm for technology, and ability to investigate and solve problems, will propel you to become an integral part of our innovative teams and influence product development.
In this role, you will:

• Perform reliability and maintainability analyses on Small Form Factor, Lo TAC and AEWS systems.
• Engage in and drive reliability testing assignments, including HALT and RGT
• Perform sneak circuit analysis tasks
• Perform FRACAS including leading FRBs and RCAs, when required
• Promote the growth of Reliability Lab activities
• Perform life consumption data analyses
• Perform Fault Tree Analysis on Small Form Factor, Lo TAC and AEWS systems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Proven Background History of Required Skills:

• Perform RAM trade studies
• Define/allocate RAM requirements and assess RAM performance (MTBF, MTBCF, Ao)
• Perform Reliability Predictions and MTBF Modeling
• Perform Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Perform Testability Analysis
• Perform Maintainability Analysis
• Perform Sneak Circuit Analysis
• Perform reliability testing

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Prefer to hire a proven Senior Principal Reliability Engineer with over 15 years exposure to ECS products from the SFF EW, AEWS and Lo TAC product lines

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
