Precision Strike Ops PM (Hybrid)

Job Description

The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) is seeking an experienced Operations Proposal Leader to join our growing Operations team. As a result of significant growth within the Precision Strike Business Area, we are looking for a strategic and systems-minded professional to lead the Operations strategy and on-time execution of proposals and help drive our overall Operations objectives forward via collaboration and innovation.

This is a first shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Operations inputs for proposals across the PGSS portfolio
• Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional teams working on proposal efforts
• Verify resource needs and availability, and provide technical guidance and work scope evaluation of proposal spec packages
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to support make/buy and strategic decision making
• Develop compliance matrices to ensure timely completion of proposals adhering to external and internal deliverable due dates
• Support Cost Volume Leads in development of estimates and ROS %
• Work cross-functionally to overcome barriers to accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the proposal
• Liaise with Operations and Programs Management to develop clear and concise technical and execution strategies
• Lead kickoff meetings to discuss strategy for pricing, execution, and technical work

Additional Responsibilities:

• CAM/OPM for development programs
• Lead capital efforts
• Other strategic special projects

Requirements:

• Experienced in proposal management and operations
• Strategic and systems mindset with ability to translate technical needs from the customer and understand the impact to Operations
• Methodical and detailed approach to proposals
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams
• Proven track record of on-time proposal execution and compliance

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Engineering
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Proven track record of successfully launching products on time, within budget, and to customer requirements
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and control budgets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel
• Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents in Microsoft Office
• Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
• Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent organizational and follow through skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to perform price analyses
• Solid knowledge of DoD contracting

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
