Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking experienced software test engineers to join one of our business solutions teams supporting a classified customer. This role requires test engineers to work individually as well as within a team to achieve goals for our government customer.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 8 continuous years of experience in software testing
- Experience with Interface and Integration testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Rudimentary SQL and Unix experience with the desire to gain additional experience
- Highly motivated in making a measurable impact with a strong commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of an intricate application and understanding of how its components interact
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Proactive mindset, with a passion for quality and continuous improvement
- Proficient in formulating clear and comprehensive test documentation
- Well organized and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates hands-on experience and success leading test QA initiatives
- Penchant for finding ways to get things done
- Thrive in a dynamic environment that requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues
- Needs little to no supervision
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with agile scrum methodologies and being a part of a scrum team
- Passionate about agile testing and continuous improvement in the context of application lifecycle management
- Experience with HR - Enterprise Resource Planning or Human Capital Management systems
- Knowledge or experience in Infor Lawson software
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
