Position Summary
Sara Software Systems is seeking an experienced Tester to support the IRS Enterprise Systems Testing (EST) organization for the GMF Modernization initiative. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Lanham, Maryland, focused on performing functional, integration, performance, and automation testing within large-scale IRS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, and performance testing for IRS systems (GMF, ERS, SCCF, GUF, etc.).
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Validate end-to-end data flows and ensure compliance with IRS testing standards.
- Log and track defects, prepare test reports, and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate testing deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong background in functional, integration, performance, and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium, RFT, RIT, Jira, Xray, ServiceNow, and IBM ETM/ELM.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD integration, and enterprise test environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prior experience with IRS systems (GMF, ERS, SCCF, GUF) or federal SDLC frameworks (OneSDLC) is preferred.
