Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate production team members to achieve daily targets.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet demand and maintain on-time performance.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, HACCP, FDA, and SQF standards.
- Monitor line performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
- Conduct shift meetings, assign job duties, and verify completion of tasks.
- Perform quality checks and verify accurate packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety initiatives and incident reporting.
- Maintain accurate records, including production logs, labor hours, and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment; food industry experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and food safety regulations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, ERP systems a plus).
